Hi john it was the summer i went to a see the toronto argonauts on sept 19.1993 and to my surprize you were thier. I said we should go get our tickets singed by you everyone said to me hes to busy so I made my way down to you and said."HEY JHON" and you turned around and said yes to me. i was so shocked all i said to you was can you sign my ticket and you said sure so i handed you my ticket and you signed it . All i said to you was thank you and you smiled and went on with your day . THANK YOU for being that every day joe miss you and still love all your movies rest in peace john chris m from sailt ste maire

~What a Guy~

Hi John
What a sadder place the world is without you now. You were my son Danny's favourite. Uncle Buck~Planes, Trains and Automobiles, were his most treasured videos! Many a time I had to put him on his nebuliser (he had asthma) because you had made him laugh so hard and so much that he ended up really wheezy!!!
Sadly we lost Danny(RTA)in 2003. I have you to Thank for those 'So Happy Memories' of his hearty laughing at all your antics.
Say Hi to Danny for me, he'll be so embarrassed, but chuffed to bits.

For a True Movie Legend

Its so sad that you are not here anymore I loved your films. One film that stands out for me is cool runnings the true story of the Jamaican Bobsled Team. It was such a great film I cried at the end. It was one of those films that made you laugh & Cry. I loved the great outdoors that was so funny. There are so many more films that I loved I can't think of one that I din't like.

John you are a legend well loved & greatly missed. I will always keep you in my heart. Rest in peace Angel. Lots of Love.xxxx

When i hear your name i always think of UNCLE BUCK. i love that film, it always make me laugh and wished that he was my uncle.

A TRUE STAR.

Oh what a talent we lost the day john candy went to sleep. Myself, my husband, my children, and now my grandchildren, all watch our favourites time after time, he will never be forgot in my family, as we watch his films so many times over. The Blues Brothers,brilliant, Trains, planes and automobiles, brilliant, love it, CoolRunnings, my sons favourite, Home Alone, and the list goes on, a fantastic man, a brilliant actor, so funny, i just loved him,i would watch anything that he was in, cause you know it would be an entertainment to watch, bless him.

John a great big light went out the day you left, broke so many hearts, it was and is one of the worlds greatest lost, but you know it was heavens gain. fantastic john, thankyou so much for sharing your self and your talent with us. We will never forget you. xxxxxxx night night big man.xxxx
